The room had a lovely view, but the shower had no hot water.

The double room was clean and had a comfortable bed, which was a big plus. There were good towels and the amenities were decent. The only downside was the overall vibe. it felt a bit basic and could use some updates. But for the price and location, it worked for us.

We recently enjoyed our 2-night stay, and the free snacks were a fun surprise. plus, the kids loved the cozy lounge area for family games. Though the room could use some modern touches, everything was generally clean and comfortable. If they could add a few outdoor seating areas, it would make it even better! 🌞

Cozy vibes with a warm touch
Had a nice stay at this clean little spot. Emma was super friendly and made us feel at home. Loved the free snacks like yogurt and croissants in the lounge – a great touch! Just wish there was hot water when we needed it. The place is a bit small but cozy otherwise.

Just a great match for a stopover in Bridlington with good price-value balance. Ian was friendly and allowed late check-in, which helped a lot. Consider bringing your own snacks as the bar area doesn't have much to offer.

The position of South Dene hotel is great, just a short walk from the beach. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast options were available, and the cereals were a hit with the kids. Emma welcomed us well and addressed a couple of minor issues quickly. the decor needs refreshing, and the hallway noise was annoying. We often heard people passing our room early in the morning, which disturbed our sleep. Another downside was the heating. it felt limited, especially since it was cold at the end of May.

Recommend it for families with children
The lady at this place was really nice, super friendly, she let us check in early and was just. You know. They had snacks out all day, which kept my kids happy and occupied, they were thrilled to have all those drinks and treats at their fingertips!
It was not exactly budget-friendly but still reasonable for what you get.
